Pet Karma Dog Training LLC is founded by Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, Heesun Andes, CDBC, CNWI. Pet Karma is based in Clinton, NJ, Portsmouth New Hampshire, and Denver, Colorado, but serves clients from all over the globe through their online Puppy Kindergarten and Dog Sports Program. Pet Karma's mission is to teach dog guardians the importance of appropriate socialization and developmental training to strengthen the bond between pets and their people. Pet Karma’s vision is to create pathways for better communication between dogs and their humans.
Heesun Andes, Founder
Heesun Andes is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she received her B.A. and completed her certification in Companion Animal Science, at the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences…
Heesun Andes got her start partnering as Head Trainer and later, Head of Behavior with several Veterinary Hospitals across the United States. To educate people about the importance of appropriate and timely puppy socialization, Heesun and her instructors founded their signature Puppy Kindergarten classes at the veterinary hospitals where puppies showed up at 8 weeks. At the veterinary hospitals, Heesun also offered private training, Canine Good Citizen classes, AKC Tricks, K9 Nosework, and apprenticeship programs for young professionals, who wanted to learn about dog training in the veterinary field. Heesun is an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluator, Canine Good Citizen and AKC Trick Dog Evaluator, and a Certified Nose Work Instructor with the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW).
Heesun has had the honor of being mentored by legendary Behaviorists and Behavior professionals such as Dr. Ian Dunbar, Amy Herot, and Laura Monaco Torelli.

Heesun is passionate about Medical Detection and competition dog sports such as K9 Nose Work and actively competes with her Belgian Malinois Lakota.
For 2025-2026 Heesun’s mission for Pet Karma is to partner with local fear-free Veterinarians in Portsmouth, NH, so that puppies can be more comfortable with veterinary practices, and guardians will have a better understanding of their puppies developmental stage and socialization needs.

Manny Dylan Hernandez, Assistant Trainer
Manny is one of the young professionals who participated in the Apprentice Program for Dog Behavior in the Veterinary Field. Manny Dylan apprenticed with Head Trainer, Heesun Andes for two years, and then was hired as an Assistant Trainer, helping to instruct Puppy Kindergarten Classes in Morris County. Manny is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he participated in the national Bonner Leader honors program, and served the community through outreach and volunteerism. Manny Dylan is an excellent dog trainer, with a good understanding of group dynamics, dog body language, and dog behavior. Manny has worked with many different breeds and has successfully worked with hundreds of clients and graduated pet clients from puppy kindergarten, Dog Training 1 and 2. Manny is currently working on a music therapy project for dogs and people who suffer from anxiety.
